Taichung-Changhua and Hsinchu City-Hsinchu County-Miaoli Tourism Product Optimization and International Marketing

Tri-Mountain, Multiple Surprise revealed innovative surprises in classic mountain attractions.

Based on an in-depth investigation of tourism in Shitou Mountain, Pear Mountain, and Bagua Mountain in central Taiwan, we created the "Tri-Mountain, Multiple Surprise" brand to showcase the traditional and innovative travel features of the three mountains, their deep cultural heritage, and their fashionable elements. This branding integrates mountain cities, small towns, and the coasts and mountains of Taiwan's central region. Based on regional characteristics, we also created the "Leisurely Travel in Hsinchu and Miaoli" and "Gathering the Classics" tourism brands.

In order to promote Taiwan's innovative tourism destination internationally, we optimized local industries, guided operators to pass GTS international sustainability certification and provided books on multilingualism and international service. These efforts created a more friendly and attractive environment for inbound tourists. Simultaneously, we used band marketing to target the Southeast Asian Muslim market, compiled a bilingual brand book in English and Indonesian, and invited many Indonesian Youtubers to visit and shoot videos. As the Taiwan Pavilion was also a feature of the Indonesia Travel Expo, we brought together local operators and travel industry players to organize a group to travel to Indonesia for exchange. Bringing together The Place Taichung, 500times, and the multi-channel marketing brand Muji, we designed interactive experiences and discussion activities to further promote emerging tourism destinations in Taiwan.
